Toddler Carol Service at Hereford Cathedral

Bring your little ones and join the Education & Family team from Hereford Cathedral for a joyful morning of festive fun at our Toddlers’ Carol Service on Monday, 16 December.
Held in the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral Nave, this special service is designed for toddlers and their families. The event will feature a delightful Nativity with storytelling, drama, and much-loved Christmas songs that your little ones are sure to enjoy.
The service has been inspired by the success of the cathedral’s weekly Cathedral Seedlings group, where toddlers and their grown-ups come together every Thursday morning in College Hall to play, pray and learn Bible stories. The Toddler Carol Service will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the festive season with the youngest members of Hereford Cathedral. Children are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite Nativity character, whether that’s a star, a sheep, an angel, Mary, Joseph or even a donkey! Everyone is welcome to participate in the fun.

The Revd Canon James Pacey, Chancellor of Hereford Cathedral, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome families and their little ones to the Toddlers’ Carol Service this year. It’s a wonderful opportunity for toddlers to experience the joy of Christmas in a fun and engaging way, with storytelling, songs and the magic of the Nativity. We’ve seen our Cathedral Seedlings group grow so beautifully, and this service is a natural extension of that community spirit.”
All families are welcome to join this free and relaxed service. Please note that children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. The Hereford Cathedral Toddlers’ Carol Service will take place in the Cathedral nave on Monday 16 December, from 9:45am to

10.30, with refreshments following the service.
