Homemade Mint Chocolate Ice Cream

Whether you’re cooling off on a summer afternoon or just treating yourself to something special, this mint choc ice cream delivers a perfect scoop every time.
Ingredients
- 300ml Double cream
- 175g Condensed milk
- 2 tsp Peppermint extract
- 100g Dark chocolate chips
- Green food colouring (a couple of drops)
Method
Step 1: Whisk the double cream, condensed milk, peppermint extract and food colouring together until soft and fluffy.
Step 2: Gently stir in the chocolate chips.
Step 3: Spoon into an air tight container or loaf tin covered in cling film and freeze overnight.
It’s up to you how you serve it, on its own, in a cone, whatever you do, be sure to be ready to make an extra batch , it will go down a treat with the family!
