Same Values, New Chapter at Bowdon Prep
Bowdon Preparatory School has announced a new chapter as it welcomes boys and begins a phased move to co-education.
At the same time, the school is joining the Repton family of schools, linking it with one of the UK’s most respected independent school groups.
The partnership strengthens academic opportunity, governance and collaboration, while maintaining the school’s leadership, values and day to day experience. Boys will join from Kindergarten to Year 3 from September 2026, and the school will be fully co-educational by 2029.
