The Shrine Keeper – Escape Room at Hereford Cathedral
Solve our brand-new Escape Room: an immersive clue-cracking and decoding game, hosted in the Old Chapel in the Cloisters.
It is Medieval Hereford, and pilgrims have been travelling from all over the country to visit the shrine of St Thomas Cantilupe. Earlier today, a precious golden ring was left at the shrine as an offering. But- when the Shrine Keeper returned from Morning Prayer, they noticed that the ring has been stolen….
Can you find the ring, but more importantly, identify the thief before the time runs out?
Solve our Escape Room: an immersive clue-cracking and decoding game, hosted in the Old Chapel in the Cloisters. The Escape Room is funded by the Cathedral Sustainability Fund, from the legacy of the National Lottery Heritage Fund’s Eastern Cloisters Project.
Get a team together and book a session to test your skills and escape the Old Chapel!
The experience lasts 1 hour and is suitable for groups of up to six people, costing £70 total per session. The game is challenging but is suitable for ages 11+. Groups of under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
