Talk Away Don’t Walk Away
#TalkAwayDontWalkAway is The Courtyard’s award-winnning mental health awareness project for young people in Herefordshire. Using drama, practical exercises and games, children explore what mental health is. They also look at ways that they can look after their mental health and promote positive wellbeing. This sharing evening is an opportunity for young people to share their artistic responses to the workshops, through drama, dance, music or film.

The Courtyard is Hereford’s leading centre for the arts, with regular family friendly Live Shows, Films and Workshops for all ages to enjoy. Our Family Saturdays offer the perfect family entertainment every weekend.
There are also clubs and classes for all ages and abilities, with additional ‘camps’ throughout the school holidays.
The Courtyard is also a great place to host your child’s party. Book it on the same day as one of our fabulous Family Saturdays shows to make it a birthday your child and their friends will absolutely love, and never forget.
The Courtyard is wheelchair accessible and caters for all abilities. All levels of the theatre are accessible by level access or lift, and blue badge parking is available. Toilet facilities are on the ground floor, with a wheelchair-friendly toilet. The nearest changing places facilities are available at The Old Market, just over the road from the Theatre.
