Working Open Day at the Waterworks Museum

Free entry for Children

Head over to the Waterworks Museum in Hereford for an entertaining family day out with many engines working (due to an electrical fault, steam engines will not be running).

·         Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of a Victorian waterworks

·         Learn how the Waterworks helped to deliver clean drinking water, improving the health of Herefordians

·         Have fun in the Play and Learn Water Park

·         Visit the Hereford in World War Two exhibition

·         Try the quiz and trails for children

·         Relax with a coffee in our cafe

With free parking, and a stunning location, this is a great day out for all the family, and for all ages.  You can even bring a picnic, and take a stroll by the river.  Under-16s have free entry too!

Please double-check on the website before attending our Steam Days and Working Days.

No need to book in advance for our steam open days or working days – and there is free entry for children.  Please note, if anyone in your party has sensory issues, you may want to bring ear defenders as our working engines can be loud!
