All you need to know about the Santa Trains at Severn Valley Railway:
Travel on a steam train to see Santa in a pantomime! Departures are available throughout the day from Kidderminster Station (DY10 1QX), with the experience lasting a minimum of 2.5 hours.
It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for – celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with your family on a magical journey to Arley to see our new 2024 Christmas Show, as Jingle and Jangle the mischievous Elves return for more festive fun!
After walking through a winter wonderland at Kidderminster Station (DY10 1QX) with plenty of photo opportunities, board the steam train in your private compartment or reserved table for a magical journey. Its then time to relax and enjoy your journey to the beautifully-decorated Arley station.
Here, there are thrills, spills and plenty of laughs with a fabulous live stage panto show, featuring a host of festive characters alongside Father Christmas as he prepares for the biggest night of the year. Firm favourites Jingle and Jangle are back again for 2024 and they will be joined by Monsieur Poirat for ‘Jingle, Jangle and the Great Christmas Mystery’.
Back on the train, present-shaped surprises will be waiting for all children, before your train steams back to Kidderminster.
NEW FOR 2024: break your journey at Bewdley Station on the return journey to visit the beautiful riverside town, featuring Bewdley Museum, a wide selection of independent shops and cafes, along with lovely riverside walks. Please note, if you choose to get off the Santa Train at Bewdley, you must take all your belongings with you, as you’ll be travelling back to Kidderminster on a different train, without reserved seats. The option to break your journey at Bewdley is not available if you’re travelling on the 3.25pm, 4.00pm or 4.30pm Santa Trains.
Please note, you do not personally meet Father Christmas during the experience. Instead, you will see him on stage at Arley.
