Heartwood Exhibition. Prints from Sycamore Gap Tree **FREE**
Heartwood Exhibition is the first artistic response to the tragic felling of the Sycamore Gap tree. The exhibition runs from the 6th Sept – 19th October in Gallery One of the Queen’s Hall, which will showcase five prints made directly from a slice of the tree. The five individual prints have been shown in respective, free-to-access venues (Hadrian’s Wall at Carlisle TIC, Hexham Abbey, Hadrian’s Wall & Housesteads Fort Visitor Centre and Newcastle City Library) since July 15th, but they will come together in a joint show at the Queen’s Hall from the 6th September. The exhibition is free, but donations will be welcomed.
