Rosedale Accessible Holiday Home: wheelchair-accessible accommodation for up to ten guests.
Rosedale, in the beautiful Golden Valley area of Herefordshire, is a unique, 5 bedroomed wheelchair-accessible holiday home, offering the ideal escape for families and groups.
Rosedale is the perfect destination for family and friends get-togethers, sleeping up to ten people across 5 bedrooms. Our beautiful, step-free accommodation enables the entire family to stay on the same floor and enjoy the garden, games room, and hot tub together too. Rosedale was extended and adapted for wheelchair users and powerchair users, but we know that one person’s ‘accessible’ is another person’s ‘impossible’. Full information on our accessibility can be found here. We have facilities to charge mobility scooters in our games room, and loads of ideas on wheelchair and mobility scooter accessible strolls in the area too.
We have welcomed guests of all ages and abilities; we aim to make holidays at Rosedale as inclusive as possible. Rosedale is set in lovely private landscaped gardens, with wheelchair-accessible paths, a choice of seating areas, a babbling brook, and even a hot tub (with a ceiling track hoist if required).
Rosedale is in a lovely rural village location between Hereford and Hay on Wye. With easy access to a local shop stocking all you would need for a stay, there is also a bistro, a bar with a restaurant, a café, a pub, and hairdressers all just a ten-minute stroll away (under half a mile).
Other pubs, restaurants, and activities (including golf, fishing, paintball, horse riding, and so much more) are just a short drive away. You can always find out what’s on locally here.
The area is a huge hit with ramblers, with countryside walks right on the doorstep. We also welcome dogs – they are part of the family! With our enclosed rear garden (5 feet-high wooden panel fences, and a 3.5 feet-high picket gate) and some of the best walks around, your pooch will have the best time. The local café and pubs are dog-friendly too!
Rosedale is situated just 10 miles from the historic town of Hay-On-Wye, the famous town of books and home of the world-renowned Hay Festival. From here you can explore the wonderful Black Mountains too.
13 miles from Rosedale, Hereford city boasts several museums, a fully accessible theatre with Changing Places facilities, the stunning Cathedral which houses the ancient medieval Mappa Mundi, a huge inflatable arena for the kids, and lots of other attractions, shops and cafes.
