Alvechurch Scarecrow Festival
Alvechurch Scarecrow Festival returns from Monday 26th to Saturday 31st October 2026!
Families are invited to explore the village of Alvechurch, to discover an amazing array of scarecrows, and enjoy a fun-filled trail together.
Trail maps will be available throughout the week for just £1, from The Lounge Community Café or a digital version is available to print by contacting Alvechurch Scarecrow Festival via the Facebook page, along with cakes/bakes and raffle tickets to get the chance to win some amazing prizes from pamper treatments to a hamper of yummy goodies!
To finish the week our Spooktacular event runs on Sat 31st Oct, offering spooky games, tattoos, activities and tombola fun.
The festival is about more than just scarecrows – it is also helping to support The Lounge Community Café, run by Alvechurch Communities Together (ACT), a registered charity supporting people of all ages across the local community. The Scarecrow Festival is supported by Bromsgrove District Council.
The Lounge community cafe provides a welcoming, affordable space where people can meet, eat and connect. Its work includes Youth@The Lounge, offering young people a safe and supportive place to build friendships, confidence and life skills, and Friendship Matters, a weekly group for older residents that helps tackle loneliness and social isolation through friendship, activities and shared meals.
The community café also provides a friendly place for residents and families to come together, with proceeds reinvested into the charity’s community work and events.
