A little about Hereford Cathedral:
Set in the very heart of Hereford City, Hereford Cathedral is the award-winning, top tourist destination. It houses the famous medieval Mappa Mundi and chained library. We also serve refreshments, lunches, and light bites in our lovely cafe.
Hereford Cathedral is a great destination for people of all ages and has lots going on for families, with a toddler group, a lego club, an escape room, trails, and events for all to enjoy. With our changing exhibitions and events throughout the year, there is something for eveyone, and plenty of reason to re-visit again and again. Our tower tours give you an amazing view across Hereford – these tours involve climbing lots of steps, with a recommended age of 8 plus. Children must be accompanied by an adult!
Opening times for the Cathedral, Mappa Mundi Exhibition, and cafe can be found here.
