Easter Trail

3rd to 12th April

Easter 2026 will see a fun, family-friendly town-wide Easter Trail, themed around bunny rabbits and carrots, bringing activity to Altrincham throughout the school holidays.

Alongside the trail, we’ll be running a programme of carrot-themed activities designed to help reintroduce the “Altringham Heritage Carrot” into popular use, celebrating its local roots and growing story. With a special focus on National Carrot Day on Saturday 4th April, the programme will include hands-on planting, seed-saving and fermentation workshops for both adults and children.

Altrincham businesses will also be encouraged to join in the celebrations by showcasing carrot-inspired products from carrot cake and carrot sourdough to fresh carrot juice and soup!
