Wizzafest is a playground of fun for the whole family! Since our inception in 2005, we’ve grown into a vibrant community, drawing around 2,000 attendees. For the first time in 2024, we have received funding from Arts Council England to help us host the best event yet.

Wizzafest is run entirely by a team of enthusiastic volunteers. We aim to craft an inviting atmosphere where people can explore a range of musical genres including jazz, folk, funk, and soul. We also host various workshops such as music sessions, hula-hooping and yoga – the vast majority of which are included in the ticket price. We aim to create fun and meaningful experiences for all ages and abilities.

Wizzzafest started as a small backyard gathering created by our founder, Emma Jones, affectionately known as “Ezza Wizza.” From these humble beginnings, Wizzafest has blossomed into a vibrant festival. After the loss of Emma’s father, Ivan, to cancer, the festival took on a new depth, supporting a different charity each year. This year, 2024, we’re honored to support Marie Curie, helping those facing terminal illnesses and their families.

In 2023, we celebrated a significant milestone by becoming a Community Interest Company (CIC), reaffirming our dedication to our community-focused mission. With our new location in Coleshill, Wizzafest is ready to embark on an exhilarating new chapter, filled with fresh experiences for both our loyal attendees and newcomers alike.

So, why not join us? Dive into the unique world of Wizzafest, where you can connect, relax, and perhaps even learn something new. Get ready for Wizzafest 2024 – we can’t wait to welcome you!
