Hello! I am Lisa Bayliss editor of Raring2go! in Bromsgrove and Redditch. The business was launched in Spring 2007 and I am very proud to say that It has become the definitive guide of what to do and where to go in the Bromsgrove, Redditch and surrounding areas.
I live locally and have 2 children, my children love the fact that I am the editor of Raring2go! especially when the magazines are delivered to their schools. They also get the chance to visit all the fantastic places we have in our area and try out the activities and events. You could say that they are our ‘junior reporters’ as their opinions are taken on board by us so that the magazine is as informative and relevant as it could possibly be!
Raring2go! is all about getting out and enjoying what’s on offer in our local area, whether it’s a simple walk in the park, joining a new club or class, trying out a family friendly restaurant or a new party venue. You can find new hobbies, talents and make new friends at the same time, you will also be supporting local businesses too!
The magazine is delivered four times a year January, March, July, & October so look out for the next issue! 17,000 children aged 0-11 years enjoy receiving their copy through schools, nurseries, pre-schools, libraries and other family orientated locations in the local area. The magazine is always jam packed with things to do, places to visit, party ideas and events, plus competitions and money off vouchers are included in every edition! The website will also have up to date information loaded regularly to keep you well informed about what’s going on in the area and is very handy when you haven’t got the latest edition of the magazine to hand!
Don’t forget to mention Raring2go! when you call or visit businesses featured in the magazine or website. I would love to hear about your favourite place or event that you have visited in the area so don’t be shy..you may even get a mention in the next edition!!
For any business out there that wants to put themselves in front of local families – this is the guide to be in and the website to be on.
