The Pocket Choral Society

Hailing from the hard-to-find village of Pocket comes The Pocket Choral Society with “Please Drive Carefully” –  a new a cappella show from an off-the-wall choir of four, combining beautiful close harmony singing and quirky songwriting, with much laughter and even improvised singing sessions. This ensemble – a vicar, publican, farmer, and village shop worker – blend their voices into one, performing both their own material and inventive arrangements of classics from Lennon & McCartney, Lou Reed, Flanders & Swann, Tom Waits, and more.

“Utterly quirky and hugely engaging ………. very clever and very silly”

“Tom Lehrer crossed with The Bonzo Dog DooDah Band”

“Bill Bailey Meets The Archers”

This is a professional show coming to Feckenham as part of the Live & Local programme. Supported by Arts Council England, Worcestershire County Council and Redditch Borough Council. The scheme brings top class professional entertainment to rural locations – surprising shows in surprising places!
