Mog and The Tiger Who Came to Tea at Tatton Park 2023

Mog and The Tiger Who Came to Tea at Tatton Park 2023

This year, Tatton Park invites families, to step into the enchanting world of The Tiger Who Came to Tea and the playful story of Mog the Forgetful Cat, in partnership with HarperCollins Publishers, whose year-long programme of activities celebrates 100 years since the birth of Judith Kerr, best-selling author and illustrator of these classic books.

“Suddenly there was a ring at the door…”

You’ll find a fun and interactive The Tiger Who Came to Tea adventure trail in Tatton Park’s beautiful spring gardens from 1 April – 3 September 2023.

Little, and not so little, explorers can engage with nature, the great outdoors and the story of the ‘big, furry, stripy tiger’.

Pick up a trail pack with your tiger mask and get hands on playing in Sophie’s Kitchen, collect some teatime favourites along the way and snap a photo with the tiger!

Price

Trail packs cost £2 each and can be pre-booked online with your Garden entry.

Standard Parkland and Garden entry applies. Entry can be purchased on the day or pre-booked online here.

National Trust members enjoy free garden entry. You can pre book a concession ticket along with a trail pack online here.

Times

Gardens are open daily 10am – 6pm (last entry 5pm).

In addition, Kerr’s playful story of Mog the Forgetful Cat will be the inspiration behind the Mansion and Farm’s activities, which unveil Tatton Park’s sizzling summer holiday programme from 1 August 2023 – 29 October 2023. Run wild to find Mog in the Farm’s Maze before you join her on a fun mansion trail.
