Tatton Park welcomes Miffy this easter!
- Celebrating 70 years of globally loved children’s character, Miffy by Dutch artist Dick Bruna.
- Families can take part in fun easter trails with Miffy across the estate with chocolate rewards over the Easter weekend (3 – 6 April 2026)
- Musical and interactive storytelling brings classic Miffy stories to life for children (3 – 6 April 2026)
Celebrating 70 years of Miffy!
Perfectly timed for the Easter holidays, Miffy welcomes spring to Tatton Park promising an engaging, nature‑inspired experience for young visitors, with plenty to discover both outdoors and indoors. Little explorers can go on a scavenger hunt in the beautiful Gardens, searching for signs of spring, enjoying playful activities, and taking in the seasonal sights, sounds and smells.
Down on the Farm, children can meet Miffy’s farmyard friends and help her prepare for a special Easter picnic, learning about animals and rural life along the way. The adventure continues inside the Mansion, where families can discover colourful treasures, she has collected throughout her springtime journey.
Designed especially for pre‑school and early‑primary‑age children, the event blends storytelling, outdoor play, and seasonal discovery, making it an ideal day out for
families with young children. Set against the stunning backdrop of Tatton Park, the experience encourages curiosity, creativity, and a connection with nature.
“We’re delighted to welcome Miffy to Tatton Park this Easter as she turned 70 last year,” said Caroline Jackson Marketing Manager Tatton Park. “Miffy is an iconic, international character whose stories have spanned decades and still as popular today as it was when she was first drawn in 1955 by Dick Bruna. “This event is a wonderful way for families to explore the Gardens, Farm and Mansion together while celebrating the arrival of spring in a fun and accessible way.”
More Easter adventures
Great fun for all the family across the estate, Easter visitors will find:
- Lambing week at the Farm 28 March – 5 April 2026 (closed Monday)
- The Giant Wheel Co returns with their 30m observation wheel, a rare chance to soar high above Tatton’s Sableyard with spectacular garden and parkland views
- Pop up outdoor Easter market in the Stableyard with glitter artist on hand to bring the sparkle for little ones
- Light lunches, sweet treats from the Gardener’s Cottage Tearoom
