My First Museum Tour at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery
Join us at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery where we are hoping to give families the opportunity to join us on a relaxed, child friendly tour of the museum.
We’ll discuss what makes a museum, discover part of the history behind the museum, examine the exhibits and most importantly, help to orientate yourselves so that you know how to make the most of your visit.
Our Museum and Art Gallery has many opportunities for families to enjoy themselves, from reading corners, spaces for drawing, displayed inspirational artwork and to finish it all off, a welcoming cafe.
To start the tour, we will meet at the top of the stairs by the main entrance, from where we will explore the majority of the museum. There is access to the museum via a lift to the main galleries, inf unsure at any point, ask a member of staff for directions.
