Jurassic-Themed Urban Beach Returns to Touchwood for a Roaring Summer of Family Fun
Touchwood is thrilled to announce the return its ‘Costa del Solihull’ urban Beach this summer and this year it comes with a Jurassic twist, coinciding with the highly anticipated release of Jurassic World: Rebirth.
From Saturday 19th July, families can step into a prehistoric paradise right in the heart of Solihull, where Theatre Square will transform into a dinosaur-themed beach experience unlike any other.
Get ready for a packed day of excitement at the launch event on Saturday 19th July, with something for everyone to enjoy! Guests can enjoy incredible live Dino Mania performances throughout the day, free face painting, great music, and interactive games led by the centre’s energetic resident DJ. It is set to be a truly fun packed day and the perfect way to kick start the summer holidays.
The beach will remain open every day for free until 31st August, giving families the perfect way to keep the kids entertained all summer long. Whether you’re building sandcastles or just soaking up the sunshine, Costa del Solihull is the ultimate local escape. Buckets and spades will be provided – just bring your suntan lotion!
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing back Costa del Solihull this summer,” said Lucy Burnett, Marketing Manager. “It’s the perfect way for families to soak up the summer vibes and dive into some dino-sized fun without even having to leave Solihull. Buckets and spades are provided – just bring your suntan lotion and get ready for a summer to remember!”
To make a day of it, guests can explore Touchwood’s wide range of eateries offering something for every taste, or enjoy a round of mini golf at Spinners, the centre’s exciting new interactive entertainment venue. And the Jurassic fun continues later in the holidays, when Mr Dino returns on Saturday 2nd August for even more prehistoric adventures. Plus, check out the regular DJ sessions every Saturday from noon throughout August.
