GKCCT Christmas Treecycling
Christmas Treecycling raising funds for the GKCCT.
Recent research shows that real Christmas Trees are more environmentally friendly than fake ones. You can read more on the BBC newsround pages here. But if they shouldn’t go to landfill, how do you dispose of your Christmas tree responsibly once the festivities come to a close?
We have the perfect win-win which solves this issue, AND supports an incredible charity at the same time. Who wants a boot full of pine needles anyway? The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust can collect and recycle Christmas Trees in January.
Our fifth Christmas Treecycle campaign is back in January 2025!
The festive season is a wonderful time to gather with family and friends, and the Christmas tree is often the centerpiece of our celebrations. But once the festivities end, disposing of your real Christmas tree can be quite the hassle, especially with those pesky needles. Instead of dealing with the mess in your car, let us handle it for you!
All you need to do is click the button here to register by Tuesday 7th January at 6pm for a collection, and we will pick up your tree between the 9th – 12th January 2025. It is as simple as that! Please do note the days for specific areas.
Collection Schedule
Our teams will be collecting Christmas trees from the following areas (specific days will be advised closer to the time):
