Family Owl Pellet Workshop
Dissect an owl pellet supplied by our resident barn owls – great family activity!
In this Family Owl Pellet Workshop session you will dissect pellets to discover the tiny bones of wetland mammals who have become lunch for the barn owls with help from our friendly learning team. Please check the 4 dates below.
We collect owl pellets all year that the resident barn owls leave in the hides. The owls use the hides as hunting roosts at nights. The owls nest at Arundel in the summer, usually raising a few owlets! This year we had three barn owlets hatch at Arundel!
