Join in our Easter Egg Trail around the 40 acre site, running from Friday 29 March to Sunday 14 April.
Activities run 2-5 April and 8-12 April (Tues to Friday)
Knucker the Dragon Family Activities – Tuesday 2-Thursday 4 April, Tuesday 9-Thursday 11 April – Make a paper plate bunny or chick purse and a colourful tissue paper egg at the Creation Station, learn about the history of Easter at the Investigation Station, and play the Knucker the Dragon marble game at the Games Station.
Knucker the Dragon medieval puppet show – Monday 8 April to Friday 12 April – Come see the story of Knucker the Dragon as a medieval puppet show, it’s fun for all the family!
Folklore storytelling – Friday 5 April, Monday 8 April, Friday 12 April –Join professional storyteller Dawn Nelson in Walderton House for stories of chaotic chickens, gingerbread houses, fleeing pancakes and soups for the whole community. Performances are at 1130,1230,1330 and 1430 on the 5th, 8th and 12th of April.
Cabinet of Curiosities – Monday 1 April, Thursday 4 April, Tuesday 9 April, Thursday 11 April – Explore Denise Quinney’s Cabinet of Curiosities, where you can find all kinds of interesting items and hear about their stories.
Watch our bakers demonstrate their skills as they will be busy baking in the bakehouse over the Easter weekend. There will be an opportunity to enjoy freshly baked traditional Hot Cross bun!
There will also be other ‘Have a go’ activities around the Museum each day, with more information on the daily activities available on the day of your visit. So, why not try your hand at something new or a bit different?
