Dragon Egg Week
The Easter Dragon Egg Hunt at Pontefract Castle is back!
Help Ilbert the Dragon find all of his eggs on a new trail available from Saturday 1st April to Monday 10th April.
Join in with different dragon activities throughout the week, including storytelling, eco-friendly crafts and the first ever Dragon Parade!
Almost all of our eggcellent Dragon Egg Week activities, including the trail, are free.
In addition to the trail available all week, there are also the following activities and workshops:
– Willow Dragon Nests on Saturday 1st April
10am (SEND families)*, 11.15am, 1pm & 2.15pm – booking required
£2.50 per child, accompanying adults free

Dragons need to run and fly about to stay healthy. We’re having a super sports day – dragon style! Meet Ilbert’s sporty friends and race to seek out the noisy dragon eggs.

Our friends from Pontefract Library are with us all day sharing stories too.
