Join vocal octet Contrepoint on Friday 29 November for an enchanting evening of choral music that celebrates the spirit of Christmas with elegance and grace.
Christmas with Contrepoint will take place in the College Hall of Hereford Cathedral and will feature a beautifully curated selection of traditional carols, newly commissioned pieces, and timeless sacred and secular music, all delivered with the group’s signature precision and artistry. The programme includes Christmas classics from composers such as Sheppard, Stopford, Head, Praetorius, and many more!
Contrepoint is a newly formed vocal octet who perform a wide range of a cappella choral music. They are formed of young professional singers who already work in the professional world in choirs such as The Sixteen, Ex Cathedra, Tenebrae and many renowned cathedral choirs country wide. The group features two former Hereford Cathedral choral scholars, Harry Brookes-Owen and Charlotte Sleet, alongside Anna Grieve, Ruby Skilbeck, Benjamin Irvine-Capel, Daniel Marles, Tim Burton and Ben Watkins.

Christmas with Contrepoint takes place on Friday 29 November at 7.30 pm in Hereford Cathedral’s College Hall.
