Ashington Christmas Craft Market – Festive Fun for All the Family!
Get ready for a magical start to the festive season! Ashington Town Council invites you to the Christmas Craft Market on Friday 14th November, bringing the holiday spirit to Station Road with a special “Twelve Days of Christmas” theme.
Running from 11:30am to 7:00pm, the market promises a day of seasonal shopping, free family activities, and community cheer for all ages.
Unique Gifts & Festive Shopping
The market will feature beautifully decorated craft stalls brimming with handmade gifts. From charming stocking fillers to unique treasures not found on the high street, there’s something for everyone and all at affordable prices.
Free Family Activities
Bring the whole family along for a host of free festive fun:
- Twelve Days of Christmas Treasure Hunt – Spot all twelve Christmas characters in shop windows and craft stalls along Station Road. Complete your Treasure Hunt Form and hand it to Mrs Claus to receive a festive selection box!
- Write a Letter to Santa – Post your letters in our special Santa Mailbox.
- Decorate a Gingerbread Man – Create your own delicious gingerbread treat to take home. Allergy info provided.
- Face Painting – Get into the Christmas spirit with festive designs.
- Reindeer Food Making – Join in the fun, make some magical Reindeer Food for Christmas Eve, and donate to Wansbeck Valley Foodbank.
Supporting the Local Community
The market will also feature a charity raffle to support Wansbeck Valley Foodbank. Crafters and shops have kindly donated items for the raffle. Tickets are £1 per strip, with all proceeds going directly to the food bank. The raffle draw will take place during the event.
