Altrincham Society of Artists Summer Exhibition

The Altrincham Society of Artist’s (ASA) annual Summer Art Exhibition is taking place from Saturday 20th July to Saturday 27th 2024, at Altrincham Grammer School for Girls, Bowden Road, Bowden Road, Altrincham, WA14 2AJ.

Entry to the exhibition is free and provides the opportunity for visitors to view a wide range of paintings and artwork, demonstrations and participative events. The exhibition will feature:

·         An exhibition of work by local artists

·         Original paintings, prints and greeting cards for sale

·         A programme of daily participative events and demonstrations.

The programme of demonstrations and events features:

·         Monday               22 July                 14.00-15.30       Drawing demonstration

·         Tuesday                23 July                  10.15-12.00       Painting Demonstration

·         Wednesday        24 July                  14.00-15.30       Gelli print demonstration

·         Thursday             25 July                  14.00-15.30       Children’s workshop

·         Friday                    26 July                  10.00-12.00       Portrait demonstration

Visitors will also have the opportunity to enter a raffle to win one of three original watercolour paintings by renowned watercolour artist Peter Cronin. Peter’s paintings regularly sell, unframed, for up to £500. Proceeds from the raffle will go to the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT).
