RoboThink Altrincham STEM Club: Inspiring the Next Generation of Young Engineers
RoboThink Altrincham STEM Club is where children aged 5 to 11 can unlock their curiosity and creativity through hands on robotics and coding activities. Based in the heart of Altrincham, our club is more than just an after-school option. It is a launchpad for building confidence, teamwork, and essential STEM skills in a fun, supportive setting.

Our sessions are filled with real world challenges that get children thinking and problem solving from the start.
Children build and code robots using easy to learn modules, all with guidance from our experienced and friendly instructors. We believe every child should have the opportunity to explore STEM, so our club is open to beginners as well as budding young engineers. No prior coding or robotics experience is needed, and all equipment is provided. Children just need to bring their curiosity.
We pride ourselves on inclusivity. Our staff have experience supporting children with additional needs and we are always happy to work with parents to ensure every child can take part fully and comfortably. We welcome children from all cultural backgrounds and are mindful of dietary, religious, and accessibility requirements.
The club meets weekly during term time at our dedicated learning centre on Clarendon Avenue. Sessions are structured but flexible, encouraging children to experiment, share ideas, and make friends. Alongside our regular club, we also run popular holiday camps and after school programmes at local schools.
