Mortal Fools is a multi-award winning theatre, drama and creative projects charity supporting children, young people and communities. Their weekly youth theatre groups are for people aged 7-19 years and are run both online and in-person.
MFYT groups run weekly throughout term-time. Groups are allocated based on age:
Stage 2 = Age 7 – 11 yrs (School Years 3 – 6)
Stage 3 = Age 11 – 18 yrs (School Years 7 – 13)

They also run a weekly after school youth theatre group at Highfield Middle School. This group is only open to current Highfield Middle School students and spaces are allocated by the school. Please get in touch with Miss Henderson if you would like more information.
Ensemble Young Company
Mortal Fools Ensemble Young Company is an additional group for young people who would like to take part in a more intensive programme, with the opportunity to create and tour a full length play and develop their skills across the year.
Ensemble Young Company is open to young people aged 14 – 19 in Ashington and Tyne Valley.
