Easy Chocolate Fudge

This is a very simple recipe that kids will find easy to make.
Ingredients
3 cups chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Your toppings of choice – some of our favourites are mini eggs, marshmallows, sprinkles, coconut, nuts, popping candy, crushed cookies.
Method
- Line a baking dish with baking paper.
- Combine chocolate chips, condensed milk and butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Microwave for 30 seconds, stir carefully, and repeat until the ingredients have melted.
- Carefully remove from the microwave and stir the mixture until smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Add half of your toppings and gently combine.
- Pour into the prepared dish.
- Sprinkle on the remaining toppings.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours, or until firm.
- To cut, warm a knife and slice into squares. Store in a container and keep in the fridge.
Tip: This fudge makes a sweet homemade gift. Wrap pieces in baking paper, then place in a small box, paper cup or clear bag. Finish it off with a ribbon and a handwritten tag. For an extra-special touch, decorate the packaging with stickers.
