Tell us about the business
Roseleen’s 11+ Tutoring specialises in preparing children for the Trafford Consortium grammar school exams, following the FSCE pattern.
What’s your role there, and what does a typical day look like?
I’m the tutor, founder, assessor and examiner all in one! No two days are quite the same – I work with children across a range of subjects, building their understanding of key concepts, setting tasks, timing them, and going back over anything that needs extra practice.
What is your favourite part of your job?
Interacting with the children and guiding them in the right direction – watching them grow in confidence is brilliant to see.
What’s one thing people might not know about the business?
We use context-based learning programmes alongside our own Time Tracker Analytics, so we can track each child’s progress in detail and tailor sessions accordingly.

We’re running a FREE workshop on 20th September, covering the updated FSCE exam pattern and lots more.

Cafés and restaurants – there’s so much choice in our area
Any other fun facts you’d like to share or comments to add?
I love the outdoors and try to encourage the children I work with to explore the world around them as much as possible – learning doesn’t just happen at a desk!
