Join us this summer 2026 for a vibrant line-up of creative workshops for children and young people aged 5–16.

Tues 21 July
Pop Art Tiles 

Create a bold Pop Art tile inspired by Wolverhampton using bright colours and acrylic pens. Take home your own striking ceramic artwork. This is a BSL accessible session. £4.50

Warhol’s Wardrobe: Pop Art Fashion Design

Become a designer for the day and create bold Pop Art outfits or decorate life-sized paper shoes. Take home your own fashion-inspired creation. £4

Art Star Screen Prints

Create bold Pop Art posters using simple stencil printing techniques inspired by Andy Warhol. Print and repeat to take home your own striking design. £5

Snazzy Sun Art

Create vibrant sun prints inspired by Warhol’s floral work using light and pattern. Take home your own colourful artwork. £4

Every Day “Pop-Art” Collage

Transform everyday objects into bold collages using colour, pattern and texture.

Stop Motion Animations: Andy Warhol Style 

Create your own stop-motion animation inspired by Pop Art portraits.
Bring your characters to life and receive your finished animation to share at home. £4.50

Print Like Warhol

Design and print colourful repeat patterns inspired by Warhol’s iconic style. Take home your own bold printed artwork. £4.50

Sat 15th Aug
Superstar Props

Design and make colourful Pop Art accessories like glasses, badges and crowns. Take home your own set of fun props to wear and pose with. £4.50

ICON

Create a bold Pop Art portrait using photography, colour and collage. Take home your own pocket-sized artwork. £4

Stamp printing flag workshop

Join Jaivant Patel Company and create a vibrant printed flag using stamps, patterns and bold colours. Take home your own unique design inspired by the Pride flag. £4.50

‘Andy’s Snack Bags’

Make and decorate your own felt snack bag inspired by Pop Art colours and shapes. Take home your personalised creation. £5

Weds 26th August
Blotted Icons: Celebrity Portrait Remix

Create bold portraits using drawing, tracing and blotted line techniques. Add colour and detail to take home your own Pop Art artwork. £4

Summer Holiday Coding Boot Camps

Step into the world of tech with our hands-on coding sessions! Learn the basics of Scratch and Python using Raspberry Pi Foundation resources. Create games, solve puzzles, and build your digital confidence.

This is a supported, self-guided session, with staff on hand to help you get started and support your learning at your own pace.

Dates: Fridays
Ages: 5–16
Cost: Free

 Early Years Activities 

Join us at Wolverhampton Art Gallery and Bantock House Museum and Gardens this summer for creative, sensory play sessions designed for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. Led by artists and early years educators, these relaxed sessions encourage families to explore, play and create together in a welcoming environment.

Ages: 0 to 5 (older siblings are also welcome to attend)
