Our Hope Hive – A Place for Families to Connect, Play and Grow
Our Hope Hive is a welcoming community space designed especially for families with babies and young children. Based in West Worthing, we combine a cosy café with a beautiful play environment and sensory studio where little ones can explore, learn and make friends while parents relax and connect with others.
Created by local headteacher and community founder Rebecca Hope, Our Hope Hive was built on a simple idea: parenting is easier and more joyful when families feel supported and part of a community. Our space offers thoughtfully designed play areas that encourage imagination, creativity, and early development, while our café serves great coffee, delicious snacks, and child friendly light lunches.
We run a variety of sessions throughout the week including baby groups, toddler play sessions and themed activities inspired by early years learning. Our play experiences are carefully created to support children’s curiosity, confidence, and social development, while giving parents a chance to chat, share experiences and enjoy a moment of calm.
Our Hope Hive is also a wonderful place to celebrate special occasions. We host children’s birthday parties, seasonal events, and family gatherings, making it easy to create magical memories without the stress of organising everything yourself.
Alongside the café and play sessions, we also run The Hive Club, our wraparound childcare provision supporting local school families with breakfast and after-school care in a safe, nurturing environment.
