Guildenacre at Helmingham

A new magical experience for families – opening Spring 2026.

Opening this Spring, Guildenacre is a brand-new adventure playground set within the beautiful grounds of Helmingham Estate in Suffolk, inviting young explorers into a world where imagination and woodland magic come to life. Nestled among the trees, this immersive outdoor experience has been inspired by the enchanting tale of ‘The Guardians of Guildenacre’, where children become part of the story from the moment they arrive.

 Guildenacre blends natural materials, adventurous structures and thoughtful play design to encourage climbing, balancing, sliding, crawling and discovering. Little adventurers can follow in the footsteps of Flint the Strong, Eira the Wise, Atlas the Steadfast and Vex the Clever.

The playground features four exciting zones inspired by its woodland Guardians. Flint’s Hollow offers tunnels, burrows and lookout towers with a twisting slide. Eira’s Canopy Keep invites children to climb high to a stargazing deck with talking tubes. Atlas’s Elderglade delivers multi-level climbing, bridges and thrilling slides, while Vex’s Ember Den brings zip lines, racing slides and balance trails for energetic explorers.
