Festive Pigeon Making at Woodhorn Museum
Make and decorate your own fabulous festive pigeon (complete with flapping wings) in this family friendly workshop.
‘Festive Fancies’ is inspired by the traditional local pastime of ‘pigeon fancying’, the hobby of breeding and racing pigeons.
You can find out more about pigeon fancying (and even have a pigeon race) in the museum during your visit.
Activity included with admission. Sessions on Saturdays and Sundays throughout December, and also on Thursday 4th December, Monday 22nd, Tuesday 23rd, and Wednesday 24th December.
