The Super Duper Family Festival returns to Manchester. Get ready for four days of free half-term fun!
This February, Manchester turns into a playground for all with a series of FREE Play Zones to explore – including The Studios in St. Johns.
See Manchester’s public spaces, squares and venues transformed into exciting Play Zones with games, dancing, activities, crafts, movies, performances and more to enjoy. At Aviva Studios, choose from activities including:
The Digital Playground
Step into an immersive playground where technology and creativity collide – featuring motion sensors content, interactive digital canvas, soundscapes and an augmented reality experience as part of Factory Settings.
Make & Create: Kids Edition
A vibrant, hands-on creative zone where children and parents can design, build, colour in and play together – featuring Mini Robot Builders curated and facilitated by RoboThink.
Game Stations
A relaxed, chill-out area featuring a selection of kids PS5 games. Perfect for unwinding and enjoying playful screen time in a calm setting.
The Roller Studio
A mini roller rink filled with music, movement and family fun. Sessions are instructor-led with MCRJamSkate and designed to build confidence and skills for all ages.
Family Silent Disco
Join the family-friendly dance floor where everyone grooves to their own beat – with a curated playlist by DJ Emkay.
The Quiet Zone
A tech-free calm space with unplugged art and crafts activities, soft lighting, cosy seating and calming visuals.
All activities are free, un-ticketed, and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
