A visit to Sheffield Cathedral Illuminated has quickly become a Sheffield festive family tradition. We invite you to join us between 3 – 7 December to celebrate the Gift of Christmas.
Sheffield Cathedral is once again teaming up with award-winning art projection specialists Luxmuralis to start your family Christmas celebrations in style with the world premiere of ‘The Gift’ son-et-lumiere.
‘The Gift’ will be the Cathedral’s fifth Christmas illuminations. Since ‘The Angels are Coming’ in 2019 nearly 40,000 people have marvelled at the incredible multi-sensory light and sound immersive experience inside and outside this ancient building. Watch in awe as the story as the Christmas story is brought to life across the ancient walls of the Cathedral.
Explore the Cathedral. Discover every side chapel each beautifully illuminated. Soak up the festive feelings of goodwill and enjoy more than 40 beautifully decorated Christmas trees. Relish in seasonal treats from 1554 Coffee and Gift Shop. Say a prayer and light a candle next to the famous Sheffield Steel Nativity.
