Christmas Tree Recycling for St Michael’s Hospice
Christmas Tree Recycling for St Michael’s Hospice
There is nothing quite like the scent of a real Christmas Tree to get you in the festive mood. But what do you do with it at the end of the festive season? Nobody wants a car boot full of pine needles after all, and there are concerns over Christmas trees ending up in landfill.
Many of us prefer a real Christmas Tree over a fake one, but is it environmentally friendly? The short answer is YES – if it is grown locally, and disposed of in an eco-friendly way at the end of the festive season. That means ensuring it isn’t burned, or dumped in landfill after the festive season.
One of the best things you can do with your tree is to recycle it – chipping and reusing is perfect.
So why not do something TREE-mendous this festive season and let St Michael’s Hospice take the worry away? By booking your tree collection, not only will you be disposing of your tree in an eco-friendly way, you will be supporting St Michael’s Hospice too! Christmas tree recycling is the ideal way to help the environment and our local Hospice.
