Halloween Skate Camp at The Core
For ages 7 – 17.
Join us for a day of Skills, Spooks and Silliness! This skate camp is open to all abilities. Enjoy workshops, spooky fun, and fabulous entertainment. Make unforgettable memories too.
Our Skate camps are designed for kids to learn to skate have fun, meet new skaters and make new friends.
Session starts at 10am where we welcome you in and help to kit up with our quad skates or if you have your own your skates, we suggest that beginner and skaters learning new skills wear safety gear. If your child and you decide not to follow our guidance this is fine too. Just please let us know that it is ok for your child.
The children will be given help to get going skating and have a warm up practice before and games are played, we will usually play a game or two before we stop for a fruit break. We provide a fruit buffet for all the kids to enjoy whether they are having food with us or not.
After break we will play more games, all games are linked to skating skills so they will be learning as the play.
Lunch will be around 12.30, you can bring a packed lunch or have hot food with us, the choice is chips with sausage or nuggets, vegan options will be available.
After lunch is skills time where we coach our grades, and the children have the opportunity to pass a skills grade and receive a certificate.
We usually have another mini break then a game before the disco at 2.30pm
3pm parents arrive to collect, you can arrive a few mins early if you’d like to see how your child has progressed.
You can leave your child with cash for our snack shop if you wish, or you can tell us they may have a tab.
We advise parents not to stay as this tends to stop the children from focusing on the skating and making friends, so once your child is kitted up we find it best if you leave them too it.
We will always make sure all children are buddied up if they come alone and don’t know anyone.
so rest assured they will not be alone.
If you can, bring a water bottle, there will be squash and water available all day.
