Join us on The Santa Express! Weardale Railway’s festive Christmas train with live onboard performances from our Christmas cast & crew including our Conductor, Santa & Mrs Claus and our team of cheeky Elves!
The Santa Express is a truly spectacular magical Christmas adventure on a very special Heritage Railway beginning at Stanhope Station, travelling through Weardale.
Your Festive adventure begins with a cup of hot chocolate and a cookie, at the station, before boarding the train.
Don’t forget your Christmas hats & jumpers!
A narrated Christmas story unfolds during the journey, with some familiar festive sing-a-longs, and some new Santa Express ones. Plus with immersive entertainment and bags of Christmas cheer all wrapped up in some good old Panto style family fun en-route.
