Treasure Hunters at Ackers Adventure
A great day out for all the family at Ackers!
Captain Kidd was no ordinary pirate. He was a mastermind with a plan. Before his capture, he knew the authorities were closing in. To keep his treasure safe, he devised a daring scheme: instead of burying it on a tropical island, he smuggled it far from the sea, to a place no one would expect. This is where the players step in. They are contacted by Professor Arthur Hastings, founder of an organisation called The Treasure Hunters. They have found one piece of a treasure map in the library and need the players’ help to find the other two pieces as well as Captain Kidd’s treasure.
Treasure hunters is designed for Kids.
Ideal team size is 4 – 6 players
All teams must be accompanied by an adult at all times
We will ask for Car keys or Credit card as a deposit.

Family Adventure Day
Get ready to swap the screens for the great outdoors! This action-packed Family Adventure Day at Ackers Adventure is designed to push your limits, spark some friendly competition, and create memories that will last much longer than a social media post.

🕒 The Adventure Day Schedule
🧊 09:30 – 10:15 | Kickoff: Tubing
We’re starting with high-speed thrills. Grab a large inflatable ring and fly down our slope! It’s all the fun of sledding without needing to wait for a snowstorm. A perfect way to wake everyone up.
🧗 10:30 – 12:30 | The Tower: Climb, Zip & Fan
This session is all about vertical limits:
Climb: Scale our climbing wall and see who can reach the top first.
Zip: Feel the rush of adrenaline as you whiz through the air on the zip wire.
Fan Descender: Take a leap of faith with a controlled free-fall drop that will definitely get the heart racing!
🍴 12:45 – 13:30 | Refuel: Lunch
Take a well-earned breather. Grab some shade, swap stories about the Tower, and refuel your energy levels for the afternoon’s challenges.
13:30 – 15.00 | The Grand Finale: Paddle & Archery
We’re finishing the day with a mix of tranquility and precision:
Paddle: Take to the water for a relaxing (or competitive!) session on the canal.
Archery: Channel your inner Robin Hood. We’ll teach you the basics of the bow and arrow—steady hands and sharp eyes required!
Quick Tip: We recommend wearing comfortable sports clothing (no denim if possible) and sturdy trainers. Don’t forget a change of clothes—the “Paddle” session can get a little splashy!
Notes:
Participating children must be age 6+.
Schedule may change due to operational issues.
Bring a packed lunch our onsite shop sells Drinks, snacks and Ice creams.
Come prepared for the weather we dont stop for lunch.
