Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings is an award-winning open-air museum spanning 700 years of life in the West Midlands. Set in a stunning rural location, Avoncroft has over 30 exhibits including domestic, commercial, ecclesiastical and agricultural buildings which have been rescued, restored and reconstructed on our site.
Avoncroft is a six-times winner of the prestigious Sandford Award for quality and excellence in educational services and we welcome visits from schools, groups and societies.
We have also received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2013, putting Avoncroft in the top 10% of visitor attractions reviewed.
Our beautiful buildings and atmospheric grounds are much in demand as a wedding venue (we also offer vintage weddings) and as locations for filming and photography.
The site is also home to the UK’s National Telephone Kiosk Collection (including a rare blue police phone box) and a miniature railway.
We have a lively and varied programme of events including historical re-enactments, traditional celebrations, activity days and cultural events
