Enjoy free ROAR-some children’s activities at Kingfisher Centre Redditch
Kingfisher Centre Redditch is gearing up for a Jurassic summer packed with free activities during the school holidays.
From Monday 14th to Sunday 27th August, families will be able to enjoy two weeks of free dino themed activities. The event is open to all children and sessions will be filled on a first come first served basis. Sessions will run throughout the day between 11 am and 4pm. Guests may experience a short wait time during busy periods.
The free Dino Trail (14th to 27th August) will start at Guest Services, located in Worcester Square, where all adventurers will receive a trail sheet and pencil, ready to get hunting. Successful explorers who complete the trail can hand their trail sheet back to Guest Services and enter a competition to win a £50 voucher to spend in a Kingfisher store of their choice.
The Dino Camp (14th to 18th August) is located on Walford Walk, near Clintons. Workshops are free to all young guests from 3 years old. The dino crew will be on hand throughout the week to assist children with the creative activities. Plus, there is the option to make a £2 donation to support Kingfisher’s 2023 charity partner, Inspire Community Centre, for a face painting experience.
Little (and big) shoppers will also have the opportunity to see the T-Rex and the baby dinosaurs on Wednesday 23rd August. The dinosaurs will be roaming the centre at intervals between 12 and 5 pm on the day.

Mini explorers are invited to join a Dino Trail and discover the dinosaurs that have escaped across Kingfisher Centre Redditch.

| Dino Camp – Step into Dino Land: Monday 14th August | Young guests can step into Dino Land and be transformed into mini palaeontologists where they will be invited to draw and colour keyrings.

| Dino Camp – Make me a dino: Tuesday 15th August | Let creativity go wild with a dino mask colouring activity set to transform little shoppers into their favourite pre-historic pals.

| Dino Camp – The Dino Dig: Wednesday 16th August | Join the Dino Dig. Fossil dig stations will be open for free play and stay sessions. Plus, a crafting crew will be on hand to help create dino fossils.

| Dino Camp – Train your dino: Thursday 17th August | At the creation station guests can colour in a dino, give them a name, and take them home. The Kingfisher dino crew will also be giving out tips on how to tame them at home!

| Dino Camp – Hot Hot Hot: Friday 18th August | It’s education time, the full crew will be on hand to teach visitors about the environment the dinosaurs lived in, through volcano Playdoh play.

| Meet the Dinosaurs: Wednesday 23rd August | Meet the T-Rex and the baby dinosaurs! Visit Kingfisher between 12-5 PM on Friday 25th August and be in with a chance of meeting dinosaurs as they roam the centre. |
