Autism Friendly Day at Monkey World 🌻
Monkey World is one of our favourite attractions when it comes to inclusivity and this includes their Autism Friendly Days.
Monkey World opens an hour early at 9am, exclusively for visitors with autism and their families. Sensory trails, a calm room, and drop-in room for support all ensure that Monkey World is a great day out – for all. To ensure as many people can take advantage of this as possible, the slots will be pre-bookable only.
Please bring appropriate DLA/ PIP documentation to benefit from essential carers free entry.
Book online at www.monkeyworld.org/book-tickets/ for the 9am slot. It is important that you only select this entrance time.
The park will also have a sensory trail especially for the day, and dedicated chill-out spaces.
Monkey World provides sanctuary to over 260 rescued and endangered primates of 25 different species. The expert team of primate care staff rehabilitate and integrate the animals into natural living groups. The park is open every day to visitors, and provides fun and education to people of all ages.
