Crack the Case of the Missing League Ball in Altrincham’s New Family Summer Trail
Can you solve the mystery before the football season kicks off? Families are invited to become detectives this summer as Altrincham BID launches The Case of the Missing League Ball, a free interactive trail taking place across Altrincham town centre throughout the school holidays. Launching on Saturday 25th July and running until Monday 31st August the self-guided trail challenges participants to uncover who has stolen the brand-new league ball before the new football season begins. Inspired by a classic Whodunnit, families will explore the town centre searching for clues hidden along the route. Each clue reveals something about the mystery thief, helping detectives eliminate suspects one by one until only the culprit remains. Along the way, participants will also discover some of Altrincham’s fantastic shops and businesses.
To take part, simply download the Visit Altrincham App, head to the Tours section and start the trail. Detectives can view the list of suspects within the app or pick up a printed Suspect List from Everyman Altrincham before setting off.
Once you’ve solved the mystery, head back to Everyman Altrincham to collect a sweet treat as your reward. You will also be entered into a prize draw to win a family ticket to an Altrincham Football Club home game of your choice.
