Bowdonbury Festival and Eye Fest
Altrincham-based Maskell + Josephson Opticians are to celebrate 40 years trading in the town this year by planning a big celebration for the entire community by partnering with local festival; Bowdonbury Festival and offering its customers and the local community the opportunity to celebrate with them!
Bowdonbury Festival which is now in its 3rd year and held at Bowdon Cricket, Hockey & Squash Club has created a special anniversary event on Sunday 21st May to celebrate Maskell + Josephson’s 40th anniversary with a line up of award-winning tributes, local acts and community groups all performing on its Main Stage over the day.
The line up will be headlined by award winning tributes to The Beegees, Elton John, David Bowie and many more, with a line up which is sure to get you dancing.
Eye-Fest at Bowdonbury Festival will take place the day after the main Bowdonbury Festival on Saturday 20th May which features disco legends; Boney M as it’s headliner.
This new Sunday event will feature award winning food, local pop-up stalls, family attractions and main stage entertainment throughout to help celebrate the significant milestone anniversary for the local Opticians on the Sunday from 2pm onwards.
Maskell + Josephson has been located at their Regent Road site for 40 years this year, opening in Altrincham in 1983, being located in Manchester City centre previously.
The business is a multi-award-winning practice specialising in world class eye care with contact lenses and glasses to suit every budget, as well as providing audiology services and hearing care.
Anthony Josephson of Maskell + Josephson spoke of his excitement ahead of the celebrations; ‘We are beyond delighted to reach our 40-year anniversary here in Altrincham. We can’t wait to celebrate with everybody and especially after the events of the last few years; it will be great to come together and have a fantastic party!’
