OKS presents our Manc Bank Holiday Social at Freight Island – family festival fun for all ages!
Come celebrate the third and final May Bank Holiday weekend with us as we take over the outdoor area and fabulous Plant Room at Freight Island this 28th May.
We will have a cracking line up and we will hopefully have the Manchester Sun Shining!

Featuring:
DJ Helen playing all your fave Brit Pop Classics! She will be making sure everyone is more than alright as you will want to live forever on her dancefloor! You will be glad it was the day we caught the train as the bar will be open from 10am. You will indeed feel like a lucky man (or woman) and deffo won’t want to sit down at all!
The Conker Crew and outdoors corner of wilderness and wildness – this definitely maybe just the kind of parklife your little common people need! Think mud kitchens and natural crafting for the wild ones.
Pete Obsolete will be joining us with his brilliant Paint with Pete sessions – details to follow! You will be feeling supersonic after this one that’s for sure.
Make your musical instruments for the dance floor at our Make, Do & Mess area. Make your kula shaker and get ready to maraca like Bez under what we promise will be perfect blue skies!
Glitter Bar will be on hand for all those spice girls and Bowies – just tell us what you want what you really really want.
Hula Hula Fun will have the perfect circus drop in. They will ensure all the girls and boys will be loving the wide open space and making sure they don’t look back in anger if it’s a bit tricky!
Silent disco 2000 (and 23) – two channels of aceness as you would expect! Pop-scene and classics with some guilty pleasures! Throw some shapes – and mis-shapes with your babies and show them how it’s done!
We are super excited – see you on the dance floor! Everyone coming needs a ticket – pre-walkers are free but you will need to register them for a ticket.
