SCHOOL HOLIDAY COURSES – FEBTASTIC 2023
GAPA FEBTASTIC madness comes to the Altrincham Garrick Playhouse this half term holiday. This 5 day course encourages your child to explore their creative side.
Throughout the week they will explore the world of devised theatre, working collaboratively to develop a new short piece of theatre.
On the first day the students will be given a stimulus to work with and encouraged to work both individually and as part of the group using their imagination and creativity. Throughout the course we will guide them using numerous drama techniques and activities; to aid their creation of the scenes that will make the final piece.
The piece will be filmed on Friday, and then distributed via email for parents to view the performance.

Workshops start each day at 10.00am and finish at 4.00pm.

Attendees are required to bring their own refreshments to see them through the day.

Attendees are also requested to wear clothes suitable for movement and appropriate footwear, which will enable them to engage in all of the daily activities.

Students will be required to read text unaided.
