Children can visit Dudley Zoo & Castle for just £1 with their Kids for a Quid offer, running every day throughout October and November until 27th November 2026.
That means you can make the most of the offer during the October half-term holidays too! 🎃
🎟️ How does Kids for a Quid work?
Simply choose any full-paying admission ticket and add a Kids for a Quid ticket from the ticket options when booking online.
Tickets must be booked in advance, so make sure you book before you head off for your day at the zoo.
🎃 Halloween Half Term at Dudley Zoo & Castle
Saturday 24th October – Sunday 1st November 2026
There’s even more to discover at Dudley Zoo & Castle this October half term, with plenty of spooky fun alongside all the usual animal adventures.

🎅 Christmas is coming to Dudley Zoo!
Once Halloween is over, attention turns to Christmas, with Santa’s Grotto opening on 28th November.
Santa will be waiting inside his Grotto, set within the walls of the 11th-century castle, and visits are available right through to Christmas Eve.
So if you’re starting to plan your Christmas family days out, Dudley Zoo & Castle is one to keep on your list!

🦌 Meet the Reindeer – a brand-new animal experience
Looking for a really special animal experience? Dudley Zoo & Castle has also launched a brand-new Reindeer Ravine experience.
Participants can go behind the scenes with one of the zoo’s keepers to meet and feed the reindeer herd for around 30 minutes, while learning more about these amazing animals.
🎟️ £110 for two people or £150 for four
The experience includes zoo admission, so you can spend the rest of the day exploring the zoo and seeing the other species around the site.
You can book a specific date or purchase an open gift, allowing the recipient to choose a date that suits them.
Please note that participants must be aged 8 or over.
