North East’s Most Popular Pumpkin Patch Returns for 2025 – Bigger, Better, and Brighter Than Before!
This October, the Brocksbushes Pumpkin Experience is back, and it’s set to be the biggest and best year yet for the North East’s most popular Pumpkin Patch.
The much-loved autumn event will see the farm transformed into a spectacular seasonal playground, perfect for families, friends, and pumpkin enthusiasts of all ages. Visitors can look forward to more photo opportunities and activities than ever before with slides, mazes, the famous pumpkin house and much more, designed to be a truly memorable experience for all ages.
And in big news for 2025 – pumpkin carving is back! Guests can pick their perfect pumpkin straight from the field, then get creative in the dedicated carving tent once they’ve purchased their pumpkins.
Brocksbushes Pumpkins are grown right there on the farm, based just outside of Corbridge. This year, their amazing farm team has planted over 160,000 pumpkins across the fields. From tiny gourds to giant whoppers, every single pumpkin has been lovingly grown on-site, ensuring visitors get a truly authentic “pick-your-own” experience.
The event’s Food Village is also expanding this year, featuring an irresistible line-up of local vendors including:
- Brocksbushes Bites – serving delicious Brocksbushes homemade food and sweet treats
- Fire & Dough – artisanal wood-fired pizza
- The Big Banh – bold, fresh Vietnamese flavours
- Churro Van – warm, sugary treats to dunk and devour
New for 2025, introducing “Woof Wednesdays”! On the 22nd and 29th October only, your furry friends are welcome to join in the autumn fun. Dogs can head into the pumpkin patch with their owners to sniff out the perfect pumpkin.
The fun doesn’t stop there, for thrill-seekers and fun-lovers, there will be rides and attractions (operating on a pay as you go basis), including a children’s roller coaster, Pumpkin bumper cars, a Fun House and a whole host of pumpkin-themed games to get involved in!
This year will also feature two special ‘Twilight’ sessions on Friday 17th and Friday 24th October – magical evenings under the glow of twinkling festoon lights, complete with live music, delicious food, and seasonal drinks.
Spaces have sold out every year and this year is set to be no different, so Brocksbushes are urging visitors to book early to secure their spot.
“Every year we try to make the Pumpkin Experience bigger and more exciting – and 2025 really is our biggest leap yet,” said Rose Dickinson, Director at Brocksbushes Farm Shop. “We’ve brought back carving, added more photo moments, expanded the food offering, and introduced special Twilight sessions. We can’t wait for everyone to experience the pumpkin magic!”
