Review-Ghost Stories at The Alexandra Birmingham

Go and watch this show if you think you are brave enough, a white knuckle ride in the comfort of your theatre seat!

I had no idea what this show was about and didn’t do any research other than read the info on  The Alex’s website. I’m so glad I did as it was absolutely brilliant and knowing not a lot made it even more enjoyable.

The setting of the stage was very clever and the music just added that extra dimension of each scene ,eerie perfection. We were told not to reveal the story line as such but what I will say is that all the actors were amazing.

Dan Tetsell as Professor Good man was superb as he retold the story of each character with fast paced wit and charm.

David Cardy acted as Tony Mathews the night watchman, he had us gripped from the beginning with his opening dialogue.

Eddie Loodmer-Elliot was a class act as Simon Rifkind the young man who was a bit lost, we will be seeing a lot of him in the future I’m sure!

Then we had Clive Mantle who acted the part of Mike Priddle the busy business man, his stage presence and command of the stage had us all waiting for what came next?!

This show had us gripped from beginning to the end, I’ve not experienced a show when the audience were all gasping and guessing as to what was going to happen next, whispering excitedly! If you love a thrill and a good ghost story then go and see this show and if you’re of the faint heart make sure you hold someones hand!!

Congratulations The Alex another fantastic show that will be the talk of the town for the next few week!
